The reading program Inspire Success Inc. uses is a series that has successfully stood the test of time for one reason...IT WORKS!  THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN HELPING STUDENTS ACHIEVE READING SKILLS FOR OVER 35 YEARS!

The iREAD Primary program is geared for children ages 3 to 6.  The program is mainly focused on phonological awareness with components of whole language. Through games, activities, reading and table time the children learn while having fun with their peers.  Without even realizing, the children are working on the following skills:  attention, focus, social skills, confidence, auditory and visual memory, concentration, problem solving, fine motor skills, logical reasoning and following direction.

Upon entry to the program an assessment is done with each child to establish a starting point for their individual program.  This assessment provides us with the ability to track and measure how far the child has progressed. It also allows us to “red flag” any learning difficulities.

Parents have the option of choosing either 2 or 3 sessions per week.  Each session is 2 hours in length.  One session a week will be available on Saturdays for families who cannot access the groups during the week.  However, the more frequently the child attends, the quicker the results.  Children can join the program at any point.  It is continuous throughout the school year.  Our centre will make accommodations for kindergarten children on varying schedules.
